Movie Summary
Mr. Nobody is about a man named Nemo Nobody, a 118-year-old man who is the last mortal on earth. A reporter asks him to reflect on his life so the people can know what life was like before quasi-immortality, the endless renewal of cells.
When he is nine years old, he has to make the impossible decision to choose between his mother or his father when they divorce. The choice he makes creates a domino effect for the rest of his life. Either path leads to a different outcome when he is fifteen. At that point, there are more branches of possible outcomes when he has to choose who to love. That choice further affects his life when he is thirty-four and has a family and career.
The question the movie poses is: Are any of these lives real, or are they figments of his imagination?
